Joan Esterline Lafuze Obituary
We announce the death of Joan Esterline Lafuze (Indianapolis, Indiana), who passed away on July 19, 2026, at the age of 88. Joan will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, James C. Esterline and Dorothy Esterline (Palmer); her husband Ralph Lafuze; her children, Robert Lafuze and Jan Adams; her sister Jan Yosha; her niece Ruth Ann Valentine; and her nephews, John Brasie and Brad Yosha.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jeannette Ogborn (John), Leanne Lafuze Lighty (Brent) and Mary Comer (Steve); her grandchildren, Shawn Adams, Jessica Raber (Chris), Erin Spencer (Ethan), Thomas Comer, Kayla Comer (Dan) and Layla Raber; her sister Mary Esterline McGarvey; and her sisters-in-law, Rosemary Brasie (Bob) and Janice Kingman (Dick). She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
