She was predeceased by: her father Joseph Banich Sr.. She is survived by: her mother Anna Banich; her great-nephew John Patrick Banich; her brother Joseph Banich Jr. (Jeannie); and her nephews, Nicholas (Emilie) and Kevin Banich (Audrey).
Because JoAnn dearly loved her dogs throughout the years, in lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Indy Humane Society or to the Humane Society of Hamilton County.
