He is survived by: his children, Carole Trotter Drane, Terrie Trotter Wade (John), Mary Trotter Combs, Jacqueline Finch, Mariana Payson (Thomas Comisso) and Melanie Trotter; his grandchildren, Tasha Graves, Miesha Jones, Becky Chazz, Kamerin, Kenedy, Raegan and Merrick; his nephew Tyrone Nelson; and his great-niece Robin Rice (Derica). He is also survived by great father to his children.
