John Alan Swanigan Sr. Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 6, 2023, at the age of 68, John Alan Swanigan Sr. (Indianapolis, Indiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Reverend Alfonso Swanigan and Mallie Swanigan; his wife Mable Swanigan; and his siblings, Alfonso Swanigan, Ira Swanigan and Alpha Jean Mitchell.
He is survived by: his son John Swanigan Jr.; his grandchildren, Joneia Currin (Damon), Aaron Wooden, Dajon Currin, Jalen Currin and Nyssa Currin; his great grandchildren, Aaron Wooden and Legend Wooden; and his sisters, Marilyn Young, Saundra Crawford (John) and Ruby Jean McCracken. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and many relatives and friends.
