He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, John Cochran and Doris Cochran; his wife Elizabeth Skinner Cochran; his grandchildren, Ashley Elizabeth Ullyot, Anne Kathryn Ullyot, Reece Patrick Ullyot and Jackson Eli Cochran; and his siblings, Thomas Ray Cochran, David Lee Cochran and Celinda Louise Cochran.
