It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Joseph Leighty of Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away on July 17, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Leighty and Betty Leighty. He is survived by: his wife Peg; his siblings, Karen and Wayne; his siblings-in-law, Janny and Kent (Christy); and his stepsons, John (Stephanie) and Tyler (Brittany). He is also survived by five grandchildren and multiple nieces and nephews.
