Though John Michael may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his wife Kathleen Mary Williams. He is survived by: his sons, Christopher J. Tilford and John David Tilford; his stepchildren, David Bailey, Danny Bailey (Kim) and Mary Ann Copass (Alvin); his grandson Steven David; and his siblings, Allan (Nancy), Jody, Monica and Chuck (Cynda). He is also survived by his eight step-grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (925 E Hanna Av, Indianapolis, IN 46227). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at the Holy Cross and St. Joseph Cemetery (2446 S Meridian St, Indianapolis, IN 46225).
