He is survived by: his wife Anna Elizabeth Stout; his children, John Paul Stout (Kim), Jerry Stout, Pamela Flora (Mike) and Amanda Fuentes (Miguel); and his brother Timothy Stout. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
