In loving memory of John W. Lauter of Indianapolis, Indiana, who departed this world on September 10, 2024 at the age of 91. John leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Lauter and Lenore Lauter; and his son Kenneth Lauter. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Hahn; his sons, Keith (Linda), Ronald (Sandy) and Douglas Lauter; his grandchildren, Kelsey, Christian, Cassandra, Shelby, Brittani and Saige; and his great grandchildren, Jemma, Rowan and August.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Lauter Family Scholarship Fund at the Indianapolis Boys & Girls Club of Indianapolis, 615 N. Alabama, Suite 400, Indianapolis, IN 46204.
