We are sad to announce that, on October 8, 2022, at the age of 71, Jon D. Newlin of Indianapolis, Indiana, born in Evansville, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen E. Newlin and Marjorie Newlin (Layton); his stepfather Jack Griggs; his brothers, Larry Newlin and Jim Newlin; and his nephew Levi Newlin.
He is survived by: his wife Betsy Noblitt; his brother Jay Newlin (Tami) of West York, IL; his children, Stephanie (Woody McGehee), Beth (Steve Graham) and Shane; his grandchildren, Dalton (Ariel), Brady, Allison, Zach (Madison), Josh, Addison, Hannah, Jax, Jon Robert, Sam and Nate; his great grandchildren, Miles and Elizabeth; and his nieces and nephews, Dustin Newlin (Renee), Tiffany Higginbotham (Josh), Taci Newlin (Dakota Daugherty), Stephen Newlin, Tara Newlin and Suron Newlin.
In lieu of flowers, his family would prefer to travel back to Texas with persimmon pulp or bags of Bahrs noodles.
