He was predeceased by: his parents, Ignacio R. Rodriguez and Aurelia C. Rodriguez (Corpus); his wife Peggy Rodriguez; and his siblings, Maria Consuelo Sanchez and Ignacio Rodriguez.

He is survived by: his daughter Vanessa Rodriguez (Jake Scott); his granddaughters, Emma Scott and Annabelle Scott; and his siblings, Maria Ancelba Sanchez, Maximinia Bryant, Olga Beach, Marcelino Rodriguez and David Rodriguez. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and numerous extended family members and friends.
