She was predeceased by: her father George L. Sutton; and her grandparents, Charles, Ollie Sutton, Henry and Ina Farrow.

She is survived by: her mother Sara E. Sutton (Farrow); her husband Jim; her children, Jessica Barnett (Erik) and Justin Tucker; her grandchildren, Felix Ballard, Savannah Tucker, Veronica Barnett and Artemis Barnett; her siblings, Susan Meredith and Paul Sutton (Karen); and her children, Claus and John Cougar Mellencamp. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.
