With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Judy L. Oakley of Indianapolis, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 2, 2025 at the age of 68. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Judy had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Judy may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Slattery and Wilma Slattery; and her sister Kathy Whitehouse. She is survived by: her close friend Mark H. Oakley; her children, Jamie Godfrey (Chris), Matthew Oakley and Kathryn "Katie" Oakley; her grandchildren, Christopher, Travis, Jeremy and Karlee; and her great grandchild Holly.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory - Franklin Township Chapel (5950 E Thompson Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46237). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
