He is survived by: his parents, Philip Eugene Gaskin, Sr. and Shirley Ann Gaskin (Spaulding); his close friend Amelia Dawn Duke; his children, Rachel Duke, Tiffany Blythe, Robert Gaskin and Steven Gaskin; his grandchildren, Jasmine Longelin, Nicholas Longelin, Jocelyn Baker, Elijah Gaskin, Maya Gaskin and Leo Gaskin; his great grandchild Alyis Garcia; and his siblings, Teresa Gaskin, Timmy Gaskin and David Gaskin.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Gh Herrmann Madison Ave. Funeral Home (5141 Madison Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46227). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the St. Roch Catholic Church (3600 Pennsylvania St, Indianapolis, IN 46227).
