With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Kala Athena Steiner (Indianapolis, Indiana), born in Terre Haute, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 7, 2025 at the age of 9. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Amanda Cook Steiner and Ryan; her grandparents, Danny "Poppo", Rita "Grammy" Cook and Kathy Fuelle; her great-aunt Nana Susie Tingley (Michael); and her close friend Grace. She was also cherished by aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the O'Riley - Branson Funeral Service & Crematory (6107 S East St, Indianapolis, IN 46227). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
