It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katherine B. Schwomeyer of Indianapolis, Indiana, born in Spiceland, Indiana, who passed away on February 27, 2024, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Orestes Ledru Mote and Katherine Mote (Gladfelter); her husband Bob; her son Kurt; and her granddaughter Allison.
She is survived by: her children, Vivian Yeager (Mike) and Norman (Kerri); her grandsons, Grant, Brett and Kyle; and her sister Miriam Mote Burnette of Ohio. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made in Katie's memory to the Habitat for Humanity.
