It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kathryn Ann Massing of Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away on January 20, 2026, at the age of 104, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Bumen and Eleanor Bumen (Hill); her husband Leo Massing, Sr. of Jefferson County; her sister Rosemary Lohrman; her daughter Paula Curseaden (James); and her son-in-law Rick Himes.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Sturm (Roy Gabriel), Joseph Massing, John Massing (Grace), Leo A. Massing, Jr. (Anne), Sarah Himes and Anna LaBaw (Gene). She is also survived by seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Building Fund or the Congregation of St. Joseph.
