We announce the death of Kathy (Curry) Malwitz-Onate (Indianapolis, Indiana), who passed away on September 10, 2026, at the age of 68. Kathy will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bobby Curry and Janice Curry (Stout); her children, Bobby Ross and Samantha Malwitz; and her siblings, Mary Anne Moore and Vance Curry.
She is survived by: her siblings, Mike Curry (Moneta), Tony Curry (Lisa) and Darlene Aguilar (Jesse); and her grandchildren, Aaron Ross, Selina Navarro, Emilio Navarro, Juliana Cruz and Gabi Montoya. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the West Newton Cemetery (6701 Milton St, Indianapolis, IN 46221).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
