He was predeceased by : his parents, Herbert Hartman and Lenora; and his step-father Elmer Kleiman. He is survived by : his wife Deborah; his children, Kelly Hartman (Mel) and Keith "Buzz" Hartman, Jr.; and his step-daughters, Chrystal Rogers and Rachel Hitch-Johnson. He is also survived by his wife loved time with friends and family, especially their kids and 8 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 26th 2021 from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Old Bethhel United Methodist Church (7995 East 21st St, Indianapolis, IN 46219). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, February 26th 2021 at 2:30 PM at the Old Bethel United Methodist Church (7995 East 21st St, Indianapolis, IN 46219).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Old Bethel United Methodist Church.
