He is survived by: his daughter Paulette Nicole Briggs; his grandchildren, Robert Hennesy Briggs, Markelle Briggs and Julian Briggs; and his siblings, Emily Turner, William Rogers (Bill), Beverly Roney and Albert Cade. He is also survived by loving nieces and nephews.
