He was predeceased by: his parents, James Griggs and Sharon Griggs (Clubs); his wife Debbie; and his siblings, Mike, Jimmy, Mitzi and Rhonda.

He is survived by: his sons, Larry Griggs (Heather) and Craig Griggs (Shawn); his grandchildren, Taryn, Abbie, Shelby, Zach, Maddie, Jordan and Tyler; his great grandchildren, Lucy, Michael, Josephine, Elizabeth, Samuel and Penelope; his siblings, Kevin Horsely and Rusty Horsely; and his nieces and nephews, Michelle Rico, Kathy Moss, Kevin and Kyle Horsely. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Flanner Buchanan Washington Park East. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 12:00 PM.
