We are sad to announce that on April 21, 2024, at the age of 72, Leonard Walter Matney of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert Matney and Minerva Matney (Mullins). He is survived by : his wife Soanya L. Matney (Bryan); his stepchildren, Amber Bryan (Jeff Jennings), Anthony Bryan (Christina) and Chara Grimes; his sisters, Brenda Hill, Lisa Blackwell (Tracey) and Tina Phillips; his grandchildren, Kristina Herrera (Sergio), Amber Cheyanne Grimes and Lenard Cory Grimes; and his great grandchildren, Sergio Herrera, Teddy Herrera and Angel Cruz.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Power of Prayer Community Church (225 S Parker Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46201). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
