He was predeceased by: his wife Cathie Lane; his parents, Leslie H. Rush Sr. and Pansy Rush (Watson); and his brothers, Herman Rush, Lloyd Rush, Royster Rush and Randolph Rush.
He is survived by: his sons, Leslie H. Rush III and Gary Rush; and his sisters, Jewell Riley and Joann Groce. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
