Lillian Gertrude (Davies) Bird Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lillian Gertrude (Davies) Bird (Indianapolis, Indiana), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 23, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel J. Davies and Lillian G. Davies (Metzler); her husband Robert Edward Bird; and her siblings, Rev. Daniel T. Davies and Miriam Gossmann (Davies).
She is survived by: her children, Rosemarie Bird (Domin), Robert J. Bird (Helen) and Loretta Fulkerson-Bird (Paul); her grandchildren, Katrina Dell' (Domin), Aquila (Sal), Daniel Domin (Tasia), Abigail (Domin), Benjamin Fulkerson-Bird and Samantha Fulkerson-Bird; her great grandchildren, Tessa Rapcienski, Elise Lillian Dell'Aquila, Jack Rapcienski, Daniel C. Domin, Alexander Domin and Athena Domin; her sisters, Mary, Ruth Anne (Davies) and Foley (Robert); and her brother-in-law Arthur Gossmann.
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Christ the King Catholic Church (5884 Crittenden Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46220). A prayer will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 9:30 AM and at 10:00 AM.
