She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Eugene Sykes and Mattie Barry Sykes; and her siblings, Mary Sykes, Doris Sykes, Earlene Sykes, Harvey Sykes Jr. and Jessie Sykes.

She is survived by: her husband Robert C. Kelley; her children, Chelsea R. Kelley, Catrina Kelley and Mark Kelley (Sholonda); her siblings, Dolores Carr, Gwendolyn Sykes and Johnnie Sykes (Angel); and her grandchildren, Mark Kelley Jr., Marcelles Kelley, Maya Sain and Aaron Sain Jr.. She is also survived by one great-grandchild; and a host of cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
