She was predeceased by: her parents, Calvin Mitchell and LaDortha Mitchell; her son Jeff Tyson; and her siblings, Vernice Elaine Mitchell, Jacqueline Renee Mitchell, Calvin Mitchell (Curtistine) and Charles Mitchell.
She is survived by: her son Tyler Mitchell; her husband LJ Hentson; her daughter Kenyatta Mitchell (John); her grandchildren, Jasmine, Jacoby and John Jr.; her siblings, Montre Moore Vanessa (Lloyd), Valerie Davis (Alonzo), Percy Mitchell (Lita) and Ray Mitchell (Edwina); her sister-in-law Mance "Cookie" Mitchell; and her close friends, Brenda Wallace, Veronica Hughes, Lorenzo Wallace and Lori. She is also survived by others nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
