She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Curtsinger and Lucy Ann Holt; her sister Brenda Fay Curtsinger; her son Dan Sanford Bledsoe, Jr.; her husband Dan Sanford Bledsoe, Sr.; and her siblings, David Payton, Shirley Thompson, Waymon Holt and Roger Curtsinger.
She is survived by: her children, Tracy Bledsoe-Lopez (Mario) and John Bledsoe, Sr. (Katrina); and her siblings, Mike Payton (Dominga), Caroline Sue Miller and Della Cannon (David). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews; and countless friends and neighbors.
