She was predeceased by: her parents, John Engle and Lillie Engle; her husband Richard E. Hoggatt; and her sister Lois Brobst. She is survived by: her children, Anne Jackson (Tom), David Hoggatt, Jim Hoggatt (Christy) and Mary Secrest (Joel); and her grandchildren, Leslie Hoggatt, Lindsay Cross (Jared) and Kelsey Hoggatt.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Memorial Park Funeral Center (9350 E Washington St, Indianapolis, IN 46229). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Diabetes Association in Mae's memory.
