She was predeceased by: her mother Mary Leone Aurit (Hayes); her daughter Margaret Ann (Peggy); her father Andrew Henry Aurit; her parents-in-law, Bert Meloy and Katie; her siblings, George Edward Aurit of Shullsburg and Mary Lucille Herbst; her pet Leone Catherine Cruse (Kate); her siblings-in-law, Gertrude Aurit, Mary Kay Meloy, Jane Margaret Meloy, Lester Martin Herbst and Gerald Cruse; and her son-in-law Bruce Allen Dobson.

She is survived by: her children, Jane Marie Dobson of Indianapolis, John Bernard, Julie of Madison, Wisconsin, Michael Joseph, Hope Hauptman of Merced, California, James Francis, Rhonda of Kansas City, Missouri, Patrick Andrew of Indianapolis, Indiana., David Joseph of Indianapolis, Indiana., Michel of Indianapolis, Indiana. and Christopher Robert of Indianapolis, Indiana.. She is also survived by her daughter and six sons.

She made time to volunteer at church, to donate blood, to make quilts to help Christ the King fund raise, and to help with annual church festivals.
