He was predeceased by : his parents, Dr. Alois E. Gibson and Jean L. Gibson (Weeke); and his uncles, Cyril Gibson, Donald Gnewuch (Minnie Matilda), Eugene Meert (Erna) and Ed Henderson (Betty).

He is survived by : his siblings, Karen Ruhl (Rick), Susan Albert (Ted), David (Riitta), Daniel (Becki) and Paul (Lori Wall); his nieces and nephews, Andrew, Matthew Albert, Jack Gibson, Erin Albert, Eeva-Liisa and Helena Gibson; his uncle Bill Weeke (Carol); and his aunt Gwynne Gibson.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, Indianapolis, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, Richmond, Reid Health Hospice or to your favorite charity.
