He was predeceased by : his parents, Edgar Harrsion, Sr. and Alice Mae Harrison (Brown); his brother Dennis Harrison; and his brother-in-law Carl Carruthers. He is survived by : his wife Susan Harrison; his son Mark Harrsion, Jr. (Kennedy); his grandchildren, Mark Harrison III, Elijah Broadus, Aeren Broadus, Amara Harrison and Aria Harrison; his goddaughter Amber Broadus; his siblings, Edgar "Eddie" Jr. (Kerry), James (Alfreda), Derek, William Scott Harrison, Rebecca Harrison, Delores Harrison and Mary Harrison; and also Lanisha Jackson.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Greater St. James Missionary Baptist Church (3101 E Raymond St, Indianapolis, IN 46203). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
