He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward L. Smith and Doris M. Smith (Johnson). He is survived by: his wife Deborah Ann Smith (Gunter); and his brothers, Stephen (Tina Smith), Bruce (Patty Smith) and Eddie (Linda Smith). He is also survived by several grandchildren; a host of other family members and friends.
