She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Pauley and Clara Marie Schmitt (Eichman); her sister Ruth Marsh; her husband Richard Albert Cartmel; her children, Shirley Ostewig, Ricky Cartmel and Ralph Organ; her great great grandchild Gabriel Sizemore; and her pet Maggie.

She is survived by: her children, Ed (Christy Organ), Larry (Nancy Berkhardt) and Tina Cartmel; and her grandchildren, Melissa Organ, Amanda, Benton Cope, Michael, Mathew Organ, Alexis, Ryan and Chloe Berkhardt. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
