Marsha Schenkel Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marsha Schenkel of Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away on July 6, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Layman Crosier and Gladys Crosier; her siblings, William Crosier, Gene Crosier and Hazel Copper; and her nephew Robert Crosier.

She is survived by: her husband Richard Schenkel; her children, Rick Schenkel (Nancie), Penny Atkinson (Andy), Dan Schenkel (Tracy), Tammy Mason and Kathy Mastin (Daryl); her grandchildren, Nathan Schenkel (Tracy), Nick Schenkel (Liz), Jared Schenkel (Audrey), Brittanie Marshall (Jason), Chris Schenkel (Kayla), Drew Atkinson, Chad Atkinson (Naziya), Bri Spellman (Nathan), Kara Shulaw (Tyler), Matthew Mastin and Madeleine Mastin; her sisters-in-law, Jane Crosier and Jody Crosier; and her sibling's children, Debbie Crosier, Jill Woodyard, Bill Copper and Brad Crosier.

Visitation was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Conkle Funeral Home, Avon Chapel (76 N Avon Ave, Avon, IN 46123). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
