She is survived by: her children, Jean V. Tate, Brenda Tate Taylor and Malcolm Ernest Taylor (Kara); her grandchildren, Kallum, Malachi and Markeelie Goff; her great grandchildren, Jordan, Jerome Goff (Danielle, family: Harper, Calypso), Shareen Song (Shannon Song) and Columbus Tate (Deatres); her siblings, Mattie Stewart, Annie B. Rodgers, Eddie James Hampton, L. C. Hampton and Denoyes Hampton; Simone, Sara, Sophia, Sydney, Shannon Jr., Shaun, Chanel Tate, Brittany Tate Corey (Chris Corey), Ina, Gardus Tate, Kirin, Gerard, Jared and Joshua. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Streams Church (3425 Boulevard Pl, Indianapolis, IN 46208). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
