With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Martha Wunsch (Indianapolis, Indiana), who passed away on January 15, 2026 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Martha may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her husband Gerald Allen Wunsch; and her parents, Gladys Baker and Truman Baker. She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Ferris and David Wunsch (Kate); and her grandchildren, George, Megan, Emily and Matthew. She is also survived by her family including many cousins, as well as life-long friends.
During her own mother's struggle with dementia, she was actively involved with the Indiana Alzheimer's Association.
