He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Sr. and Jeanne; his stepfather Harold; and his brother Ken. He is survived by: his significant other Mary; his daughters, Kirstin (Aaron Gotway) and Elizabeth (David Harting); his granddaughters, ZoÃ, Ava, Lily, Alexis and Victoria; and his siblings, Sandy, Paul Walles, Maggie, Eldon Olson, Bonnie and Jeff Melick. He is also survived by his family, friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made in his name to the Print Collection at the Indianapolis Museum of Art at Newfields.
