She was predeceased by: her mother Mattie Cleveland; her siblings, Arthur, Northern Jr., Jesse, James, Michael, Jerry Cleveland, Ethel Cleveland and Dorothy Cleveland-Burton; and her close friend Betty Ann Gouard.

She is survived by: her children, Marie Cleveland-Glover, Michelle Williams, Reggie Lipscomb (Denise), Derrick Lipscomb (Kim) and Troy Brown; and her siblings, Anita Smalls, Bertha Brandon (Lemme), Ellen Brooks, Alice Shields (Lee), LuGene and Dale Cleveland.
