He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Gentry and Elon Gentry (Bicknell); his wife Luella Sue Gentry (Steinmetz); and his siblings, Lillie Miller, Virginia Hammer, Jeffie Wade, Maxine Gentry, Druscilla Van Hoy, Clark Gentry and Jessie Gentry.
He is survived by: his children, Steven Franke of Camby, Linda McKinley of Mooresville and Todd Gentry (Lisa) of North Carolina; his grandchildren, Stephanie Blanchard (Alan), Christopher Gentry, Stephen Franke, Kimberly Maddox (Michael), Dr. Tanner McKinley (Hailey) and Tori McKinley; his great grandchildren, Vince Blanchard, Lily Maddox, Alexander Maddox, Collins McKinley and Kendall McKinley; and his brother Louis Gentry. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
