He was predeceased by: his parents, James Gard and Lola Gard. He is survived by: his wife Constance M. Gard; his sons, Harold Gard (Nancy), Larry Richardson (Lois) and Michael Richardson (Cammy); his grandchildren, Richard Smith, Ryan Gard, April Hawkins, Nicole Neese, Kayla Richadson, Larry Richardson, Amanda Richardson, Brandi Richardson and Chad Pearson; and his great grandchildren, Callia Hawkins, Emmilyn Hawkins, Thomas Hawkins, Devin Pearson, Dyson Pearson, Blake Neese, Trella Neese, Jack Bingham, Jameson Neese, Alex Richardson, Brayden Richardson and Carlie Richardson.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park (425 N Holt Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46222). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
