He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry J. Gehrich and Mary Esther Gehrich; his brothers, Harry Gehrich, Richard Gehrich and Donald Gehrich; his brothers-in-law, Paul Stuller and Daniel Warren; and his son-in-law Harold Hazan.
He is survived by: his wife Sherri J. Gehrich; his children, Julia Hazan, Sherry Wiggins (James) and Max J. Gehrich II (Suzette); and his sisters, Helen Stuller and Rosemarie Warren. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and his two beloved cats.
