With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Melinda Sue Deane of Indianapolis, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 14, 2025 at the age of 54. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Melinda departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Melinda. Though Melinda may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Hale and Mearl Hale (Cook); and her brothers, Gary Hale, Ronnie Hale and Thomas Hale II.
She is survived by: her husband Michael Deane; her brother John Hale (Tina); her nieces and nephews, John II, Kimberly (Jason), Kevin (Liz), Tommy III and Hailey (Jacob); and her stepdaughters, Michayla and Madison Deane. She is also survived by three grandchildren; and many cousins.
