He is survived by: his children, Melissa Tyler, Kelly Scrougham (Larr), Teresa Kriete, Michael Tyler, Jr. and Chris Hatfield; his siblings, Mark Parsley, Kevin Tyler, Darla Parsley-Brown, Lisa Tyler and Charla Parsley-Buntain; his grandchildren, Haleigh Hashman, Christian Graham, Connor Graham, Ryan Sherfick, Gage Michael Tyler, Vincent Tyler, Joseph Tyler and Arron Prosser-Tyler; his close friend Teddy Wallace; and his pets, Silver, Precious and Lucy. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and several extended family, friends.
