He is survived by: his former wife Rosemary Covington; his children, Michael Covington Jr. and Alexandria Covington; and his grandchildren, India Covington, Makayla Covington, Myesha Covington, Mikeisha Covington, Michael Covington III and Deandre White. He is also survived by 11 Great grandchildren; and a host of cousins, nephews and nieces.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM and at 1:00 PM at the Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services (1420 Prospect St, Indianapolis, IN 46203).
