He is survived by: his mother Janet Hurt; his children, Stephanie Carter (Cory) and Ryan Hurt (Brooke); his stepchildren, Alana Carr (Tyler), Desirae Goodwin (Erik) and Owen Nelson; his grandchildren, Landon, Cory Jr., Kaylea, Joey, Brea, Jordan, Joslyn, Johni, Khari, Jamie and Chloe; his stepgrandchildren, Skylynn, Piper, Elliot, Jaime, Jace and Phoenix; his sisters, Becky Bishop (Jason) and Jenny Williams (Paul); his niece Alyssa; his nephews, Lincoln and Allan; and his pet Mickey.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Indiana Funeral Care (925 E Hanna Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46227). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
