He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Fay and Norma Fay (Hood); his siblings-in-law, Christine Helmer, Mary Pat Hougendobler, Cheryl Helmer and Danny Koss; and his niece Emily Bruner.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Fay (Helmer); his sons, Kevin Fay (Daphne) and Andrew Fay (Emily); his siblings, Tom Fay, Beth Beck (Steve), Ann Marie Ransdell (Dan), Jimmy Fay, Patty Brown, Cathy Hagan (John), Suzy Maled (Tom), Peggy Semich (Brian) and Tony Fay (Mike); his parents-in-law, Vince Helmer (Marlene), Joanne Koss, Bob Helmer (Ann), Tom Helmer, Jim Helmer (Lisa) and Ed Hougendobler; and his grandsons, Hayden, Ian and Connor Fay. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
