He was predeceased by: his parents, Salvatore Mazza and Elizabeth Mazza (Cossell); his daughter Mary Ann Mazza; and his sister Marion Mascari. He is survived by: his children, Susan Savage, Charles Mazza (Jayda), Michael Mazza, Tina Gardner (Donald), Salvatore "Tudie" Mazza and Mark Mazza; and his siblings, Charles Mazza, Christine Mazza, Anthony Mazza and Regina Isenberg. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Nativity Catholic Church (7225 Southeastern Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46239). A Mass will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
