She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer "Isaac" William Yancy and Virginia Theresa Franklin (Buckner); her former husband Gregory Beray Hale; and her husband Alfred Mitchell. She is survived by: her children, DeShawn Hale and Gregory Hale II (Tia); her stepfather Adolph Buckner, Sr. (Pop); her stepson Lawrence Mitchell Sr. (Elizabeth); her grandchildren, Kyara Mitchell, Christian Hale-Adkins, Gregory Hale III, Kaitlin Mitchell, Shelby Hale, Lawrence Mitchell Jr., Dalen Hale, DayLee Hale and Rayleigh Hale; and her siblings, Adolph Buckner Jr. (Carla), Kevin Buckner (Mersheillia), Kimeron Stewart, Adriann Jackson and Leslie Mundy (Chris). She is also survived by cousins, family, friends, nieces and nephews.
