She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray F. Meek and Bertha V. Meek (Replogle); and her husband Dr. George K. Stookey. She is survived by: her children, Lynda Howard, Lisa Hoover (Brian), Laura Bone (David) and Kenneth Stookey (Michele); and her grandchildren, Evan Howard (Lauren), Emily Huffman (Justin), Elliot Howard, Alison Collins (Bart), Erika Velasco (Jonathan), Nathan Hoover (Charina), Rachel Perez (Michael), Landon Bone, Isabella Stookey and Madeline Stookey. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 21st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Crown Hill Gothic Chapel (700 W 38th St, Indianapolis, IN 46208). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 21st 2024 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
