He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Hanes and June Hanes (Wilmarth); his wife Pharis Border Hanes; and his daughter Cynthia Hanes. He is survived by: his son Dennis Hanes (Beverly) of Poplar Bluff, MO; his grandsons, Eric Hanes (Audrey) of Jonesboro, AR and Dusty Hanes (Alex) of Bryant, AR; his daughter Angela Hanes of Balch Springs, TX; his grandchildren, Samantha, Darrin, Cory, Ashley, Lin and Alina Fleenor; his daughter Pamela Parker of Paragould, AR; his granddaughters, Heather Blankenship (James) of Beech Grove, AR and Stephanie Parker of Paragould, AR; his daughter Amy Jones (Calvin) of Russellville, AR.; and his sister Lavera Ritchie of Searcy, AR.. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren and cherished nieces and nephews.
